Well cared for and maintained and covered when in storage. Gel-coat in outstanding condition. Unit kept in Ready-to-Go status for the last 5 summers. Small enough to sit in your driveway to be ready to go on a last minute adventure but large enough for 3. We did not cook food in the Casita and it was used 100% off grid so no microwave use either. It is equipped with a Fantastic Fan and a 16,000 BTU furnace that can blast-heat the entire space in just a few minutes. An electric heat strip is available while connected to shore power.

Equipped with a 6 gallon water heater to provide enough water to give you a warm-up shower up after a swim in the river. Push-pedal latrine drains into a 15 gallon black water tank. If you don’t flush tissue it can last many days!

This 2013 model’s bathroom has the built-in cabinet with sink and storage underneath, not all ‘13s have this upgrade!

25 gallon fresh water tank [can fill water heater and refill to push total carrying size to 31 gallons] and flo-jet pump provides plenty of pressure. 32 gallon gray water tank so you don’t have to worry about filling it on weekend trips.

All interior lights [except the high temperature vent hood bulb] are LED so you can leave them on without draining the battery. 2 Exterior lights are also equipped. A 2-season old battery has been kept inside on charge during the off-season and is still in great shape.

A Coleman Mach air conditioner blasts ice cold while connected to shore power and a 3-way 4.6cu/ft Dometic refrigerator gives you the option of running on 12v,120v or onboard propane will ensure your food stays cold all trip. It has a freezer as well so you can have ice for cocktails. It has 2-20 lb propane tanks so plenty of gas to keep everything running.

Side dinette table converts into a single bed and the rear dinette converts into a full size bed.

Large closet in front and storage is built into every space available. It can be packed full enough for multi-activity trips.

This Casita rides on 15’’ tires and a high-lift Dexter axel so dirt roads are no issue and getting into tight spaces is easier. 17 feet long, 8’11’’ high and only 6’8’’ wide you’ll have excellent visibility while backing and on the highway. Is equipped with a heavy-duty Weight Distribution Hitch and Sway Bar. It is totally overkill for the Casita but provides some peace of mind. There is a 2’’ hitch on the back but it is not rated for towing [I think, we never used it].

I am considering leaving the Teshonka Brake Controller. It’s pretty awesome and means you do not have to install a brake controller in your tow vehicle. It is customizable and works super well. I love it but I don’t need it anymore.

There is also a Fammia awning that works well and is always tightly rigged so no bends or tears and is well lubricated and new brackets installed [also have a spare]. With practice it can be deployed by one person in fair weather.

Note: This trailer has a dry weight of 2480 lbs. It will be more comfortable to tow using a vehicle of max capacity of 5000lbs or more.
