It is known for holding up for many years and hundreds of thousands of miles. This 1992 Liberty 40 is no exception. The Seller has been involved in trucking machine shop work for nearly all of his life, and he knows big types of diesel and how to take care of them. The Detroit Diesel 8V92 is still considered one of the best big engines ever produced, and this one starts right up and runs smoothly and steadily.... The Detroit in this coach is the ECM controllable motor and can be programmed to push up to 550HP, but seller has not changed the programming and coach performs very well at current factory horsepower setting. The coach has been upgraded with two newer 15,000 BTOUroof-mounted A/C's, Winegard satellite, Samsung TVs, a new residential refrigerator, a new Xantrex Freedom 458 inverter/charger (2,000 watts), and new Quahog bedding.This listing has now been on the market a couple months. The speedometer was replaced, and the mileage shown on it is the current mileage since then. The coach has a DOT stamp under the captain's station showing the mileage when the replacement was made. The current mileage on the coach is 188,000.

The clearcoat is peeling, there are some dings in the aluminum (shown in the photos), a cracked side window, and overall wear and tear appropriate for the coach's age. This is a nice Prevost.

All new batteries were just installed.
